Rehabilitation focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and rebuilding strength after injury, surgery, or for pets managing chronic conditions such as arthritis.
During your initial evaluation, we’ll discuss your pet’s medical history and goals, perform an evaluation, and create a personalized at-home exercise program to support healing between visits.
Each 30-minute rehabilitation session typically includes:
A combination of modalities best fit for your pet in their recovery.
Progress updates and adjustments to your pet’s at-home plan to promote continued improvement and comfort.
As a veterinarian-recommended service, we work closely with your pet’s primary care or specialty veterinarian to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care every step of the way. A veterinary referral is required for rehabilitation services.

During your initial assessment, we’ll discuss your dog’s goals, assess their current fitness level, and create a personalized at-home exercise program to support their progress between visits.
Each 30-minute conditioning session typically includes:
A combination of conditioning exercises and underwater treadmill therapy.
Guidance and adjustments to your dog’s at-home exercise plan to keep them engaged, challenged, and on track toward their goals.
Since this program is for healthy dogs, no veterinary referral is required.

Maintaining a healthy weight is one of the best ways to improve your pet’s comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life. Our weight management program combines safe exercise, nutrition guidance, and ongoing support to help your dog reach and maintain their ideal weight.
During your initial assessment, we’ll discuss your pet’s goals, assess their current body condition, and develop a personalized plan that includes calorie calculations and dietary guidance to support steady, healthy weight loss.
Each 30-minute weight management session typically includes:
Weekly weigh-ins to track progress and keep goals on target.
A combination of low-impact exercise and underwater treadmill therapy to safely build strength and burn calories.
Nutritional support, including calorie monitoring and information about balanced diet options.
Because this program is designed for overall healthy pets, no veterinary referral is required.

Modalities
-
Hydrotherapy, the underwater treadmill, is a powerful tool in canine rehabilitation. By combining the benefits of water buoyancy with controlled movement, this therapy allows dogs to exercise with reduced stress on their joints while still building strength and endurance.
The water’s resistance helps improve muscle tone, range of motion, and cardiovascular fitness, all in a low-impact environment that’s gentle on healing bodies. It’s especially effective for post-surgical recovery, arthritis, neurologic conditions, and weight management.
-
Therapeutic exercises are a key part of your dog’s rehabilitation plan. These targeted, purposeful movements are designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, all while promoting healing and reducing pain.
Each exercise is carefully selected based on your dog’s condition, whether they’re recovering from surgery, managing a chronic issue like arthritis, or experiencing age-related changes. From guided stretches to controlled movements and obstacle work, we tailor each session to help your dog move more comfortably and confidently.
-
Class 3B handheld laser therapy, a non-invasive treatment that uses therapeutic light energy to reduce pain and inflammation while promoting tissue healing. It helps improve circulation, accelerate recovery, and is great for conditions like arthritis, soft tissue injuries, and post-operative care.
-
Healing doesn’t stop when your dog leaves our facility, that’s why we provide customized at-home exercise plans to support progress between sessions. Each plan includes clear instructions, recommended frequency, and tips to make exercises safe and effective at home.
-
TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and NMES (Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation) are non-invasive, drug-free therapies that use gentle electrical currents to support healing, reduce pain, and improve muscle function.
TENS is primarily used for pain relief by stimulating nerves and blocking pain signals.
NMES targets specific muscles to promote contractions, helping to maintain or rebuild muscle strength - especially in dogs with limited mobility, nerve injuries, or post-surgical recovery needs.
-
Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy uses gentle electromagnetic pulses to stimulate your dog’s cells, promoting faster healing, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain. This non-invasive treatment supports tissue repair and improves circulation, making it especially helpful for conditions like arthritis, soft tissue injuries, and post-surgical recovery.
